We request and use only the information required to conduct our business with you. All client information is kept confidential, and is kept to the minimum necessary for us to provide our services to you.

Our internal processes are automated and do not require any human intervention or human reading of your email. It is possible that email headers may need to be read by an administrator if a delivery problem is suspected, and if that is the case, that is all that will be read. TLS encryption is used where the remote host requests it and where it accepts our request to do so. Your email contents are just as secure with MERCMAIL's service as it is with any other mail server, including your own. (If you require absolute secrecy of your message contents, you should encrypt it directly.)
