Additional Services And Customizations

MERCMAIL can provide a variety of additional services, some at no extra charge:

• Secondary Domain/Account Licensing is provided at no extra cost. If you have more than one domain, and the username portions are the same in both domains, you only pay for licensing in one domain.
• Domain Administration is provided at no extra cost. If you administer one or more domains, you are able to create, view, change, and delete accounts from a secure web interface.
• Inbox Hosting can be provided at no extra cost for clients with less than ten licenses, or at extra cost for clients with ten or more licenses. A variety of types of access are available. Cost is based on the number of inboxes required.
• Global Whitelist is not a recommended item, but can be provided on request. Some organizations find that their end users have so many email correspondents in common, that it makes sense for them to globalize certain valid senders. This is especially important for entities with very large numbers of correspondents.
• Compliance Feature is provided at extra cost. If you require copies of inbound and outbound email for regulatory compliance or security monitoring, we have safeguards in place and can accommodate this. Cost is based on initial setup, ongoing maintenance, and expected volumes.
• Whitelist Syncing is provided at extra cost. If users have more than one address being protected, it is often advantageous for them to have the same authorizations. Cost is based on initial setup and ongoing maintenance time.
• Custom Programming for your specific needs can be provided at extra cost. Some clients desire certain features which deviate from our core, and would likely never end up as a core item. Other clients want to fasttrack a particular feature that we intend to be in our core, but is not scheduled soon enough for them. These can both be accommodated. Suggested customizations which are not currently high on our priority list:
  • Web interface for domain admin maintenance of Global Whitelist.
  • Web interface for domain admin maintenance of Whitelist Syncing.
  • Option to email individual log files to domain admin for monitoring.
